Director of internal control

Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare the company's internal audit system and manage risks and internal control systems in accordance with accepted standards and present them to management for approval.
• Develop appropriate control systems to measure and manage risks by generally predicting the risks that the company may face, creating an environment that recognizes the risk mitigation culture across the company, and transparently disclosing it to company management.
• Review and evaluate the integrity and effectiveness of the proper implementation of accounting and financial controls and ensure the reliability of the financial reporting process.
• Identify risks and weaknesses in the financial cycle and develop response methods to improve them.
• Increase awareness and understanding of internal controls and ensure effective control management in a cost-effective manner to support the company's objectives.
• Monitor the performance of the full audit cycle, including risk management and control of the effectiveness of financial operations.
• Monitor and follow up compliance with all legal and accounting directives and regulations.
• Identify gaps in financial management and provide risk recommendations.
• Conduct regular account reviews and submit reports to management.
• Full knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Work closely with external auditors and provide all required documentation.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in (Accounting, Banking Management, Financial Sciences and Banking).
Experience:
• Must have at least five years of experience in financial and banking fields.
• Evidence of participation in relevant training courses related to their field of work.
